DSA has a variety of programs designed to teach swimming to all ages and skill levels. The general swimming programs start at the pre-learner level with the Baby and Me Swimming Program for infants as young as 6 months. For toddlers between the ages of 3 to 4 years, DSA has the Kiddie Swimmers Program, which is the first independent step the child takes in the water.
The Learn to Swim Program is for children of ages 5 and above and the program has three different sections based of the age groups. The Program is divided into 3 different levels — Red, Yellow and Blue, with two sub-levels in each. Each level and sub-level has a structed learning and development pattern based on the child’s ability to learn. Skilled and competitive level swimmers can join the Swim Squad, starting off with the Mini Squad Program before entering the DSA Swim Squad.
DSA’s Specialty Programs include a specific swim program for children with special needs or disabilities called the Special Care Swimmer Program. Other Specialty Programs are the Artistic Swimming and Water Polo programs which require advanced swimming skills.
